Laura Gwosden has spent all of her career in early stage venture capital firms. She has been the Chief Financial Officer of ComVentures, Vanguard Venture Partners, and Red Rock Ventures. In her role as CFO, she has executed the formation of more than ten venture capital funds, raising capital in excess of $1.7 billion, and managing numerous distributions. She has been responsible for establishing and maintaining all legal, accountant, banking, and brokerage relationships. Additionally, she has been responsible for both fund and investment related accounting and reporting for institutional and individual investors as well as regulatory compliance.

Laura graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Human Development and later earned an MBA, focusing on finance, from Santa Clara University. She is an active volunteer Lucille Salter Packard Children’s Hospital, Special Olympics, and The Parkinson’s Institute. Laura serves on the board of a multiple non-profit organizations focusing on education and athletics.
